Led by professionally trained chef Eva of the Leiths School of Food & Wine, with experience teaching at Jamie Oliver’s Recipease and heading up a school kitchen, Smithers Barn Cookery School offers a level of expertise and hands-on guidance that truly sets us apart.
We offer a range of thoughtfully designed classes for both adults and children of all ages, each tailored to suit ability and confidence in the kitchen. Our children’s sessions are fully adaptable, from Reception age through to teenagers exploring a future in food, with the option for completely bespoke experiences.
For older children considering a culinary path, we go beyond the basics, introducing real kitchen techniques and technical skills that many cookery schools aren’t equipped to deliver, all under the guidance of Eva’s professional expertise.
